The resort we stayed in Grenada was stunning and I couldn’t help but want to take photos on every corner of the property! Usually I think of palm trees and soft sand when the Caribbean comes to mind, but Grenada was unique in that the island has a mixed beach and rainforest climate.
The hotel we stayed at was expertly landscaped and had gorgeous canopies of bougainvilleas, banana and palm trees and vine-laced trellises. I am a huge sucker for beautiful flowers. They just make everything feel more alive! Someday I’d love to have a house with plenty of room in the backyard for a garden – maybe some orchids and peonies and maybe a little herb garden. Ooh just wait till you see some of my photos from Spain – they really love their flowers there! I took another million pictures haha.
I bought this casual off the shoulder dress on sale in the winter and kept storing it for the chance to wear it in warm weather. I finally wore it for the first time on my Caribbean trip. It’s a little fancier with the deep off the shoulder but made of a everyday casual cotton so I think it’d be quite easy to dress up or down depending on the occasion.
Anyway, I just LOVE the off the shoulder trend for spring and summer! I think it’s a fun way to show a bit of skin and there are so many options: tighter, bodycon dresses like the version I’m wearing as well bohemian, flow-y tops and dresses with looser fits (for when you want to eat a lot but still look put together). Either way, I can’t get enough! The one I have is now sold out but below are some new favorites I’ve discovered online:
