On my recent trip to Cape Town, I stayed at the Cullinan Hotel. The hotel’s location is ideal for travelers as it’s a short 15 minute walk to Victoria’s Wharf for shopping and dining and also close to the Two Oceans Aquarium. The hotel has amazingly friendly staff who also run an hourly shuttle which is really convenient! There’s free wifi in the rooms and connecting hotel rooms if you’re traveling in a group.
I took these snaps of the gorgeous lobby. Every night after sun down, they light up a multitude of small and large candles and it makes everything seem magical.

Oh my word! Now THAT’s what I call a beautiful hotel lobby <3 xx
Great post! I have not been to South Africa but it is a place I’ve always wanted to travel to. Have I mentioned that I absolutely love the name of your blog? It is so punny and perfect :)
As for the thrift shops I frequent, yes as of recently Beacon’s Closet since moving to NYC, but that Cynthia Rowley dress you liked is actually from Crossroads. That is probably where I always have THE BEST luck. It’s always hit or miss, Black + Brown is another good one as well. Those were my go-tos in CA. Do you have any recommendations for NY or where are you based? Happy #wcw!

Hi Kelly – haha thanks! i’m glad you appreciate the blog name ;)
I live in NYC but haven’t really gotten into thrifting – I guess I just don’t know where to go and often don’t have the stamina to sort through everything. I have been to the massive Beacons closet in Greenpoint though, that had a bunch of cool stuff. I’ll check out Crossroads and Black + Brown, thanks for the recc’s!
Wow- simply gorgeous! I have never been to Cape Town… putting it on my bucket list now!
These photos are stunning! Looks like an incredible hotel :) Hope you had fun dear xx

This hotel looks so beautiful! I love the high windows, almost gives a roman architecture feel, it sounds magical. If I ever visit Cape town and I can afford to stay there I surly will, Can’t wait to see more from you !
