The Mill is a gorgeous coffee shop near San Francisco’s Haight Ashbury district. For one, the space is huge (at least compared to NYC coffee shop standards) and the interior space beautifully decorated with a mix of hipster and wood chic. There’s plenty of seats too (I’m not really a stand at the coffee bar and slurp fast kind of person). After a full day of walking and exploring SF, it was pure heaven to stop by the Mill and take a leisurely cortado break off my feet.
While placing my order, I noticed that a nearby shelf stocked Four Barrel beans and an assortment of delicious looking bread (apparently from Josey Baker). The barista was also exceptionally nice – I accidentally was waiting in the wrong line but she still asked to take my order before gently nudging me in the right direction.
This looks like a great coffee shop! Really good to know they have nice staff members; that’s always important to me :)
