Prince de Galles Hotel in Paris, France

Prince de Galles Hotel We had only a couple days in Paris so I picked the Prince de Galles hotel for our stay, located near the Champs-Elysées and steps from the Arc de Triomphe.     The elegant boutique hotel was such a luxurious stay – our room was large by Parisian standards and coming […]

What a beautiful hotel! We are going to Paris next fall for our honeymoon. I’ll have to check this place out! It’s done in all my favorite colors!

SherMarch 13, 2014 - 1:26 am

Connie, definitely do! It’s the perfect place after a long day of sightseeing and shopping ;). Also, if you’re a starwood member, the hotel is part of the SPG network which is pretty handy!

What pretty hotel pics! Would’ve loved to see more of the rooms themselves, but I’m loving the design and look!

Ha, you know I meant to shoot the room itself as well (there is an amazing soaking tub and french doors)… but every night when I got back to the room I would be so tired that I would immediately relax, jump on the bed and having clothes everywhere. It was never pristine enough to photograph!

Rodin Museum and Garden

Rodin Museum   The Rodin Museum is one my favorites, because it’s not so much a traditionally, stuffy museum but more a beautifully curated house and garden dotted with some of Auguste Rodin’s most famous sculptures. A walk into a room here, a stroll through the garden path… every couple feet a new work awaits!   […]

yes, the rodin museum is one of my favorites because the museum itself is so beautiful. thanks for stopping by!

[…] MUST SEE? Hmm.. hard to pick one, so I’ll go with my three most favorite museums. The spooky crypt and upper level viewing deck from the Pantheon, the charming mansion of Musee Jacquemart-Andre (check out posts 1 and 2), and the sculpture filled gardens at Musee Rodin. […]

Hey Steph – thanks! I use a combination of a canon DSLR MKD III and an iphone 5s. The canon is a bit of a splurge and honestly I reach for my iphone 90% of the time! :)

Arc de Triomphe While in Paris, our hotel was under a 5 minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe so luckily we saw this gorgeous view a lot. The above photo was taken on our way out to dinner. I liked the shot and couldn’t decide on color vs. black and white, so there you […]

Notre Dame de Paris

Notre Dame de Paris   Although the gargoyles are Notre Dame’s main draw, the church interior is cavernous and majestic and certainly not to be missed! I took a couple quick snapshots of the stained glass windows during a walk around the pews. The church interior is accessible via the main entrance and although […]

More great pics. I would advise a longer visit though for more of the effect. I love coming in the early morning and having the place mainly to myself and walking around. Sitting through Mass is also nice as it helps give you just a bit of that feeling of what it must have been like to sit there hundreds of years ago.

SherMarch 3, 2014 - 3:51 pm

ooh sitting in Mass must have been nice. Early morning is always a great time too – little to no crowds!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
