Shop Tech and So Much More with Monoprice

Before I started working on my blog full time, I still considered myself a fairly tech-oriented person. And by “fairly tech-oriented”, I mean I could switch my smart TV from cable to Netflix and could upload photographs from my iPhone to my computer!

Jokes aside, running your own website – especially one focused on travel and photography – requires you get smart on the latest photography, software, and video technology in a hurry. Figuring out what equipment you need to be successful is hard enough, but figuring out what provider has products and reviews you can trust can be even more of a nightmare.

That’s why I love checking out Monoprice whenever I need the latest tech equipment. Whether it’s ethernet or HDMI cables, wall mounts, sound equipment, adapters, chargers, or other computer and video accessories, Monoprice literally has it all. They also tend to have great discounts and promotions, which definitely helps defray the cost of expensive equipment – especially when you’re running your own business.

In addition to traditional tech products, Monoprice has an expanding product suite that impressively addresses home and leisure needs. Here are 3 products that I’ve got my eye on in particular!

Strata Home Smartvac 2.0

Living in New York, there are certain things that you simply have to do yourself. The vast majority of apartments don’t have dishwashers or washer / dryer units, so cleaning the dishes after dinner and walking to do laundry are toiling rites of passage for us New Yorkers.

That’s why I’m all ears when someone (or, in this case, something) can do the cleaning for me. The Strata Home Smartvac 2.0 fits this bill perfectly, as it can clean for up to 100 minutes, has its own charging dock, and even remembers where it’s charging station is, migrating toward it when its battery is low!

Monolith M300 In-Ear Planar Magnetic Headphones

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles wasn’t just the name of the classic 1987 Steve Martin movie, but also the collective name of where I seem to spend most of my life as a travel blogger. Investing in a quality pair of headphones can make these long trips so much easier, and that’s why I’m absolutely in love with these M300 in-ear headphones from Monolith.

The key Monolith differentiator is found in its magnetic headphone driver, which provides sound with better bass and lower distortion than most competitors. The Monolith headphones also come with a variety of ear tips, hooks and locks, meaning you’re bound to find something comfortable and perfect for your ears!

El Niño 300 Smoothie Blender

Whether it’s multi-hundred-dollar products from Vitamix or specialty “artisanal” boutiques that offer smoothies at $10 a pop, the cost of modern society’s obsession with smoothies, green juices, and (of course) the Amazonian superfood açai is becoming unbearable.

That’s why this El Niño 300 Smoothie Blender is such a breath of fresh air, allowing me to enjoy delicious homemade smoothies without breaking the bank. The blender provides 300 watts of power, holds 18 ounces, and also comes with a lid that allows the blending cup to double as a to-go bottle. Ingenious!
