Embroidered Pieces for Summer
Today I’ve partnered with Macy’s to feature some gorgeous embroidered outfits for summer! Both looks feature items from Macy’s Max Studio.
Shift Dress: Macy’s Max Studio

Look 1: Embroidered Shift Dress
Boy did summer turn on like a switch! I used to love the sun and summer heat but lately I can’t really take hot temperatures without feeling like I’m about to collapse. For summer, I’m loving lightweight fabrics like linen and loose, breathable silhouettes.
This Max Studio shift dress from Macy’s fits the bill perfectly and I’ve been wearing it nonstop! It’s a forgiving cut, so I especially love it for brunch or picnics. Meanwhile, the ruffle details on the cap sleeves and hemline keep it interesting and I love the viking-esque embroidered bib on the front.
As you can tell from the photos I’ve been wearing it non stop and simply switching up my shoes/bag to keep the look fresh.
Jacket: Macys Max Studio
Blouse: Ann Taylor Jeans: Abercrombie / Wedges: Jack Rogers
Look 2: Casual Fridays at the Office
For casual days at the office, I usually wear a sleeveless blouse and bring along a statement jacket. Even though it’s boiling hot outside, inside the air conditioner leaves me with goose bumps so long sleeves are key.
I love the casual, loose fit of this Max Studio jacket. It’s got vertical stripes to help length my (very short) torso and the blue and red embroidery give it some pop.
Such a beautiful dress! Love the embroidered detail and flowy cut!
