Maaji Swim

I liked my first one piece from Maaji so much.. that I bought another!

This time, I picked out a bikini from the brand.

I went with this simple navy two piece that had high waisted bottoms. And like most of Maaji’s swimwear, it’s reversible – so the other side has a fun orange and navy print for the feeling of two suits at the price of one!

Maaji

Maaji is a female-founded Colombian swimwear brand. They’re a certified B corporation and have an environmentally socially conscious mission.

I like that their products are eco friendly and that 90% of the fabrics are made by local suppliers. They use digital printing for lower water consumption and create swim from recycled polyester (from recycled plastic bottles) as well as recycled nylon (from nylon production waste).

Maaji started with just swimwear but have branched into cute summer sundresses, beach cover ups and just launched activewear!

They also offer swim in extended plus sizes which is great to see.

Maaji Bikini Review

The bikini felt super secure and I liked the contrast between the minimal solid navy and the fun flower print on the reverse side.

They’re also quite high-waisted, but slightly cheeky in the back, which for me felt like a nice balance.

Then I found out.. the patterns are reversible! Most of the brand’s swimwear is double printed, with a solid (or more neutral color) on one side and a fun bright pattern on the other.
