Leaders Insolution

I’m a total sheet mask junkie. They’re like a magical band aid for your face full of skin quenching ingredients like hyaluronic acid, collagen and – I simply can’t get enough.

I’ve tried every brand under the sun and was fully intent on continuing my sheet mask rolodex experiment when I tried the Leaders Insolution for the first time. They’re the best korean sheet masks I’ve ever tried and have since become my go-to favorite for face masks as the fit is incredible.

In fact, I was so happy with the first Leaders sheet mask that I tried that I quickly bought two more packs. The combination of high quality materials and affordable prices have earned them a permanent place in my skincare regimen and I’m thrilled to be able to partner with them today to bring you this review.

The Ingredients

These masks are also drenched in serum and stay pretty moist after 20 minutes, the standard sheet mask wear time, so I keep them on for 30-45 minutes until the leftover liquid has totally been absorbed. I also use the leftover serum from inside the packets as well. After peeling the mask off, my skin is dewy and plump. In the winter I’ll sometimes kept vertical dehydration lines around the mouth. After a sheet mask session, my skin is totally hydrated and the pesky lines disappear.

The Material

The Leaders Insolution masks are made out of biodegradable, high quality cotton. They’re soft, stretchy and non irritating without strong scents. Leaders Insolution USA also carries a coconut gel line with masks made from fermented coconut juice – these coconut hydrogel sheet masks lock in 10x the moisture compared to standard masks. While the Coconut line packaging looks similar on the outside, all the coconut masks have two paper films covering both sides of the mask, so make sure you remove both before applying.

The first time I used a Leaders Insolution coconut gel mask I only removed one side and I couldn’t figure out why the mask kept slipping off ha!

The Fit

Since Leaders Insolution sheet masks tend to be a little thinner and therefore stretchier, the mask can really hug the contours of your face. In the past, masks would always stick well to my forehead but as they rolled down my nose and cheeks, somehow by the mouth area there would be massive air pockets and too much fabric bunching around the chin. Not so with Leaders sheet masks!

Everyone’s face is different so personally I really loved the fit but give it a go and let me know what you think of the sizing!

Leaders Sheet Masks

Leaders Cosmetics has a number of hit products: the Classic line which includes the First Ampoule masks, Treatment masks, Amino masks and Daily Wonder masks and the Coconut Gel line, which includes the fun Recovery series, 7 wonders masks and superfood masks.

I had a solid week off over the winter holidays so I decided to try 7 different Leaders sheet masks over the course of one full week. Here’s my journey:

Leaders Daily Wonders Too Much Fun in the Sun Mask

Sunday: I’ve spent virtually all of December down south in the Caribbean (first on a work trip to Jamaica, then for some relaxation in Tulum, followed by my cousin’s wedding in Cancun) so my skin is deeply tanned and I’m getting worried about all the potential sun damage. I decide to use this mask to kick off my week.

Results: The fun, punchy packaging on this Leaders mask seems made for my current situation. Made with cactus and butterfly bush extracts, it definitely feels soothing and calming. After 20 minutes the mask is completely dry – I guess my skin was dehydrated. My face feels plump and nourished. There’s a slight hint of tackiness from the serum, but in a pleasant ‘just cleansed and moisturized’ way.

Leaders Insolution AC Clear Treatment Mask

Monday: I definitely overloaded on greasy fried food while on vacation and I’m feeling some oncoming breakouts. To get ahead and hopefully minimize how bad the pimples will be, I pop on the AC clear treatment mask. This is from the original line and is a cloth based mask – my favorite. It promises a powerful treatment to put out the stops on acne-prone skin and is packed with snail secretion filtrate.

Results: After 20 minutes, my skin is definitely less red around the nose and mouth area. It’s a little too late to stop any breakouts – after all that’s more dependent on diet – but my skin is refreshed, hydrated and feels less irritated. This leaves a slightly more sticky finish after I peel off the mask. I’m assuming that has to do with the snail essence but it creates a really smooth base for the rest of my nighttime skincare regime and I go to sleep easily.

Leaders Coconut Gel Orange Superfood Mask

Tuesday: This mask is soaked in Vitamin C, which I regularly use in oil form as part of my night time regimen. My skin loves AHAs and Vitamin C in particular, as it helps to naturally and gently exfoliate the skin. I’m excited to try this!

Results: After 30 minutes, my face – which is deeply tanned but kind of flat – has been transformed. My skin is smooth and seems to glow from within. The small bumps on my forehead are reduced as the alpha hydroxy acids seem to have done their job and cleared out my pores. I’ll definitely be reordering this! If you’ve tried the Leaders vita bright skin renewal mask and liked it, give the orange superfood mask a go! Another similar favorite is the coconut gel brightening recovery mask!

Leaders Insolution Collagen Boosting Renewal Mask

Wednesday: It’s hump day and I’m looking for a pick me up. My skin is tight and stretched from the dry heat throughout my apartment and I’m excited by this mask, which promises to treat the signs of aging.

Results: After 20 minutes, my skip definitely feels pump and firm to the touch. My skin is glowing, my cheeks are fully moisturized, bouncy and firm. I’ll add this to my regular mask repertoire!

Leaders Insolution Mask Aquaringer Treatment

Thursday: This is the first mask I ever tried from Leaders and is my go-to. If you have dry skin like me you’ll love their Aquaringer Sheet Mask series, which is soaked in alps glacier water.

Results: These masks tend to be very hydrating and I leave them on for longer – about 30 to 45 minutes until they’re full dried. I’m always impressed by the results too. Intense hydration and dewy skin mean that I can even skip on my night time creams!

Leaders Insolution Black Out Clear 3 Step Kit

Friday: I’ve heard so much about this 3 pack blackhead mask and can’t wait to try it. I have dry skin and don’t frequently get acne but I definitely have a blackhead problem. I end work early and set aside about 45 minutes to use this blackhead mask before going out.

Results: This is a 3 part mask pack and the first step starts with opening up the pores for extraction. The second is a pad to scrub away your blackheads. The last step is to close up the pores so that nothing else gets in.

All in all, definitely a bit more work than your standard sheet mask but it’s a fun process and I see immediate results. I spend a little longer in the restaurant bathroom mirror examining my pores from all angles – my skin is super clear!

Leaders Insolution What Happened Last Night? Revitalizing Mask

Saturday: We had a couple cocktails after dinner so this “What Happened Last Night” mask sounds just like the one for today. I love the packaging of this series – they’re really fun and always make me laugh.

Results: This is like a spa in a sheet! My face is loving the ginger and artemsia extracts in the serum and I’ve squeezed out every last bit of excess liquid to use on my decolletage and hands. I’m really impressed with the glow this has left on my face!

And that’s it! Hope you enjoyed the reviews of each Leaders Insolution sheet mask.

I haven’t treated myself to a facial mask in a while. I’m going to browse further on your list and see which ones I’d like to pick up!

I love a good face mask. One of my daughters is hoping to work in the beauty industry and so is always experimenting with new products (on her and me) I had not heard of this brand before, so something new to try, how fun.

I have heard of these recently, but honestly I didn’t know what they were all about. These sound really nice – I like that you mentioned they don’t have a strong scent. I wouldn’t know how to use these, without having read your review. Glad to hear I can find these at Ulta!

As I get older I find that my skin is getting worse when it comes to break outs. I am wondering if some of these products would help that. I really need to find a new skin regimen to help with the break outs.

Hi Censie – for breakouts I would recommend a gentle AHA product to help clear out the dirt and oil that accumulates in our pores. I’m using nip + tucks glycolic pads right now which are extremely gentle and have left my skin breakout free + super glowy.

sheet masks are better for maintaining moisture and glow to the skin. for acne especially in older skin which tends to be drier and less elastic, AHA and BHA products are great. in the ingredients list you want to look for things like lactic acid, glycolic acid, etc.

This is the first time I heard about this brand and I would want to thank you for your honest review. I agree that the most frustrating thing with masks is that some of them do not “fit” and have lots of air pockets when applied to the face. I read you mentioned this brand is not that way at all. I will have to get these leaders Insolution Masks!

So frustrating right? I hope you try them out – let me know what you think of the fit Jennifer :)

I really need to start taking better care of my skin. I could use a good face mask and this one looks like a decent option. I will look into it.

I have never heard of this brand of products before but I would love to check them out more. I am always on the lookout for products that actually do what they say they do. This sounds perfect for me and what I have been looking for.
