Rouen is a most attractive town with wonderful gothic and timber framed buildings. Extremely walkable everywhere. Lots of fun speciality shops, decent groceries and good restaurants. Lively with lots of sidewalk cafe people watching. Viking river cruise boats stop here and during the mid-day you will see big cruise boat tours coming from Le Harve. The train station is very tidy, helpful and convenient.

Our last visit was 10 years ago and Rouen has changed.
Our last visit was 10 years ago and Rouen has changed. The charming pedestrian street to the Horloge is peppered with American fast-food joints and the bodies of the homeless sleeping under the arches. It certainly detracts from the historic city of Jeanne d'Arc.

Stunning city with beautiful architecture.
Stunning city with beautiful architecture. Easy to park and to get around. Plenty of pedestrian streets. Highly recommend a visit to the cathedral - free entry and open quite late. The Sunday market was amazing - a combination of food stalls, clothing, antiques and books. Could happily have spent a couple of hours there. The city also has a great selection of independent shops and of course lots of cafes and restaurants.. Well worth a visit

There were very many historical buildings and churches in Rouen - it is not just an industrial town. We had a one night stay on our way further south on a motoring holiday, but will happily visit again. It is within easy reach of London.

A fabulous city with its winding medieval streets.
A fabulous city with its winding medieval streets. The Abbey of St Ouen is as spectacular as the Cathedral, and the Musé des Beaux Arts has some wonderful art. We enjoyed the beer garden and interior of Brasserie Ragnar's Église-Brasserie at Église Saint-Nicaise and we loved the city's pride in it's viking heritage!
The hotel is in a fantastic location - right in the heart of the city, next to the Rouen Cathedral. There are many excellent restaurants and cafes nearby, and points of interest are all within walking distance.
The room was spacious, with a large bathroom and many storage options. The staff is friendly and helpful, always smiling, and go to lengths to fix any issues. The breakfast is nice: fresh pastries, cold cuts, french cheeses, vegetables, yogurts, and warm options such as eggs and bacon. All in all would definitely recommend it.
Perfect location quiet street . 15 mins walk to the old town , cathedral, shops and many restaurants: underground car park next door , it’s a bit tight so be careful.
Warm welcome , helpful staff. Large Breakfast choice and dinner , both excellent : room was large and comfortable for our stay and well appointed bathroom and shower. The hotel does look quite new or recently renovated : we would stay at the Radisson again when visiting Rouen .
The old town really is worth visiting so much history and lots to do :
We just expected more from a KYRIAD hotel, because we arrived from St Malo, where we stayed at the same hotel. The staff was friendly. There were 2 parking options (free - in front of the hotel, paid - in the garage below the hotel), but you don't find every day a parking spot in these 2 locations. The hotel is located in a vicinity of a busy avenue, but you didn't hear the noise of the street. After a 10-15 minute walk, you reach the Centre of Rouen which is surprisingly a beautiful city.
The hotel is in a fabulous spot to wander through the old streets and buildings of Rouen and was exceptionally quiet for the location. The staff were very welcoming and friendly (apart from one guy at the bar who seemed to be having an off day) and although we were on the fourth floor with no lift we had a wonderful chap who carried our bags up the stairs for us as if he was Superman! The late checkout was great and the car parking available was handy and worked very well for us.
A very convenient location - very close to the city centre where most important attractions are situated. It's also about 100 meters from the Old Market of Rouen which is not only a famous historical place but where you can find a supermarket, lots of bars and restaurants and a convenient car parking. Our rooms where very nice, with antic elements, which was charming. The staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast - ok, usual hotel breakfast.
Perfect spot for our stay over in Rouen. The hotel has private parking (big plus for us) and the breakfast they serve is superb. The hotel is within walking distance of the city center. Our host was lovely and she gave us some nice tips on where to go and where to get dinner. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely go back if we travel via this side of France
The staff is super nice, the location, the beds, the breakfast, the surroundings, everything was actually ideal. We arrived around 2:00 PM and were able to take a walk in a nearby park. Deliciously enjoyed. Top hotel, top staff and top location. Great opportunity to say goodbye to France if you are on your way to Spain.
The location was exceptional, very close to everything that you might want to see in Rouen. Generally very quiet but I think that was because the hotel was nearly empty. On my first night I heard noise until 1am but I don’t think the people above were doing anything particularly noisy, just talking normally.
Very friendly staff, 10mins walk in to the historical centre and 2mins from the river front with lots of lovely bars / restaurants. Perfect for a stop over on travelling to South West France. Rouen is a lovely, old town to walk around, tall spires and good shopping.
Very helpful staff. Apartment was roomy, clean and comfortable. Parking was convenient, situated under the hotel. Next time we would stay longer and use the facilities. Breakfast was very nice.
Rouen was an amazing city to visit, one night is not long enough.
Our stay in Rouen was perfect! Staff at the hotel went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcome. The room was very comfortable, and we loved the seating areas indoors and on the terrasse where we could have a warm drink or a cocktail.
Location was perfect for a traveller passing by. Stopped here on the way to a more Southern part of France and the hotel was easily accessible from the main road. Also close to the city centre to walk around in the evening. Friendly staff.
We were passing through Rouen on a cycling tour of Normandy and arrived exhausted. The owners of Hotel de Québec were wonderfully welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and restorative!
It was lovely to stay here. The apartment is in the centre of Rouen, there is pretty close to facilities kind of shops, restaurants, museums. Special thanks for the carpark, it was necessary in the busy area.
It’s a good value for money hotel to visit Rouen.
Affordable parking available.
Good size family room. Some recent improvements in the fit out, and clean and comfortable beds.
A quiet, clean room. Good view over the Rouen Rugby Stadium.
The Hotel has a reasonably priced restaurant and its own convenient, safe car park (paying).
