It really is just as described.
It really is just as described. I was upgraded to a room downstairs and was very grateful for the ease in parking and moving things to the room. It was a cold, snowy time and I could imagine it is really beautiful with the gardens in full bloom and the creek running on a warm day. I'll love to experience it then too. In the meantime, it's a great winter spot for my work stay-overs.

Breakfast at the B&B was great!
Breakfast at the B&B was great! For a good meal Ca'Mea is always a good default choice (besides, it is open for lunch, which in Hudson is a big plus; and their wines are not outrageously expensive!). My wife had a deep tissue massage at Bodhi and she was very happy afterwards (and, believe me, she is not so easy to keep happy!). First night had dinner at Feast and Floret and the food was delicious! But make sure you know where are they going to seat you... We went nicely attired and they did not seat us in the elegant main dining room but in a not-so-elegant adjacent "patio" (inside, not outside). Not the best choice for a romantic dinner...
We are moderately avid birdwatchers and did enjoy our birdwatching little adventures, just going around in the city, not even going into the countryside (no car, took the train from NY). Even saw a great crested flycatcher! And some goldfinches grabbing stuff for their nest (mostly the female while the male stood by...)

Warren Street has many restaurants and interesting shops. Many hidden gems off Warren as well. Interesting architecture. Most restaurants are farm to table. The city looks a little run down but has a great deal of charm.

Go to Hudson for at least 2-3 days.
Go to Hudson for at least 2-3 days. It's great for just an overnight trip, but you'll leave knowing there was so much more to see. Cutest boutiques, restaurants and bars all over the town, with any activity you could want nearby (swimming, hiking, cycling, skiing in the winter, winetasting, art galleries and outdoor exhibitions, you name it!).

Accommodations at The Nest in Hudson were excellent and in the center of town. The town is a beauty is you appreciate tastefully designed eating and shopping experiences. The restored architecture of the original 18th and 19th century buildings is authentic, charming, and rewarding.
The check-in process was very easy. The location of the property was ideal - just off of the main street, with easy access to lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and very nicely decorated and clean. The property also had a common kitchen area with snacks and drinks, which was greatly appreciated. The bathroom was new and well equipped too. Communication with the host was easy and quick!
The owner, Steve, was welcoming and made sure everything was fine in the room. Kitchen very well equipped and would be more than adequate for an extended stay. It was very quiet, no traffic noise overnight. It was only a few miles outside Hudson and easy to find. Wifi worked well, didnt try the TV. Bed was very comfortable. No breakfast served because the owner had recently been ill. Friendly cat.
Perfect central location just off Warren Street in Hudson. Only 4 rooms in this hotel so felt very cosy and intimate. Beautifully decorated, well-sized rooms. Comfortable bedding, lovely powerful shower, and all necessary amenities. Coffee machine was appreciated! Great value for money all considered. We slept very well here and would definitely stay again.
The property is clean and beautiful. Our room and the common room areas were comfortable. The Amelia does not serve a breakfast. They do have food however; granolas, yogurt, milk, coffee and some fruit.
The coffee machine does not work on all the settings. There were alsosome pastries, but they were NOT fresh.
Everything about our stay was cozy, conforttible and very friendly. Our innkeeper, Carolyn, set the most beautiful breakfast
table accompanied by an array of breakfast offerings. Location is close and walkable to the main shopping street and numerous restaurants. We would definately recommend Hudson B&B to others.
The Hotel is located in a central yet peaceful square in Downtown Hudson. The free parking is very handy for drivers. The Hotel staff is great, helpful and kind. They helped us make a last-minute booking and showed us the room before we made our final decision. Room is spacious and beds are very comfy.
The place is clean, rate is reasonable. Staffs esp Chetna, the manager, are so warm and accommodating. They are very prompt to address requests. I was treated nicely, it made feel comfortable throughout the duration of my stay in the hotel. I appreciate it so much.
Very nice hotel with a nice modern look. The room hat we booked was a long room with sofa bed, it was so spacious. Comfortable bed. Allie at the front desk was warm, friendly & helpful. Maria, the bartender, makes great cocktails
This is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting Hudson. Carolyn is the best host ever. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, the breakfast delicious. Everything is cozy and welcoming.
I recommend this B&B 100%
Beautiful property and excellent little studio style room. I wish we could have stayed longer but we were only passing through for the night—will definitely be back to fully appreciate it if I’m in the area again!
Great staff - friendly and helpful
Room was as expected - clean, typical for older hotel
Location was near bars. restaurants and pharmacy
Breakfast was good - usual stuff plus eggs and sausage - nice touch
2 adjacent rooms with individual shower rooms. Nice decoration that fits the charm of the house in a quiet lane parallel to the main Hudson artery with shops and restaurants. Easy parking.
Very comfortable. great house, super and accommodating hosts. breakfasts delicious, great recommendations on where to dine and things to do in Hudson and surrounding towns!! A Ten
The location and the hotel itself were the biggest lure for me. Parking was easy and convenient and the room was very quiet and comfortable as promised.
