It really is just as described.
It really is just as described. I was upgraded to a room downstairs and was very grateful for the ease in parking and moving things to the room. It was a cold, snowy time and I could imagine it is really beautiful with the gardens in full bloom and the creek running on a warm day. I'll love to experience it then too. In the meantime, it's a great winter spot for my work stay-overs.

Breakfast at the B&B was great!
Breakfast at the B&B was great! For a good meal Ca'Mea is always a good default choice (besides, it is open for lunch, which in Hudson is a big plus; and their wines are not outrageously expensive!). My wife had a deep tissue massage at Bodhi and she was very happy afterwards (and, believe me, she is not so easy to keep happy!). First night had dinner at Feast and Floret and the food was delicious! But make sure you know where are they going to seat you... We went nicely attired and they did not seat us in the elegant main dining room but in a not-so-elegant adjacent "patio" (inside, not outside). Not the best choice for a romantic dinner...
We are moderately avid birdwatchers and did enjoy our birdwatching little adventures, just going around in the city, not even going into the countryside (no car, took the train from NY). Even saw a great crested flycatcher! And some goldfinches grabbing stuff for their nest (mostly the female while the male stood by...)

Warren Street has many restaurants and interesting shops. Many hidden gems off Warren as well. Interesting architecture. Most restaurants are farm to table. The city looks a little run down but has a great deal of charm.

Go to Hudson for at least 2-3 days.
Go to Hudson for at least 2-3 days. It's great for just an overnight trip, but you'll leave knowing there was so much more to see. Cutest boutiques, restaurants and bars all over the town, with any activity you could want nearby (swimming, hiking, cycling, skiing in the winter, winetasting, art galleries and outdoor exhibitions, you name it!).

Accommodations at The Nest in Hudson were excellent and in the center of town. The town is a beauty is you appreciate tastefully designed eating and shopping experiences. The restored architecture of the original 18th and 19th century buildings is authentic, charming, and rewarding.
The owner, Steve, was welcoming and made sure everything was fine in the room. Kitchen very well equipped and would be more than adequate for an extended stay. It was very quiet, no traffic noise overnight. It was only a few miles outside Hudson and easy to find. Wifi worked well, didnt try the TV. Bed was very comfortable. No breakfast served because the owner had recently been ill. Friendly cat.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and time with Carolyn, who runs Hudson B&B - great and friendly service, intimate feel, lovely cats & dogs around, and spacious rooms. Really recommend and she also gave us useful information about the town, including recent history and dining recommendations.
My friends and I thought the location was great! We were able to walk to various restaurants and businesses on and around Warren St. We enjoyed drinking our coffee and lemonade on the porch and the beds were super comfortable!!!! The Nest Hudson is a cute spot in this adorable city.
The rooms were beautifully appointed with great care and attention given to comfort, style and efficiency. The decor and colour schemes were attractive and the linen was of a high standard. The hotel was also centrally located and local attractions were easy to reach on foot.
The hosts were so warm and friendly and accommodating. The home is inviting with music playing all the time. the rooms are so comfortable and the movie selection is the best! Loved the shower. Loved the bed. loved the record player and all the books in the room.
Barry was extremely welcoming, and even though we showed up a night early was able to accommodate us with a wonderfully comfy room. Bed was comfortable, and the breakfasts were amazing. Barry also had great tips for activities in the area!
Very nice hotel with a nice modern look. The room hat we booked was a long room with sofa bed, it was so spacious. Comfortable bed. Allie at the front desk was warm, friendly & helpful. Maria, the bartender, makes great cocktails
The property was clean and cozy. Quite and in close proximity to family. So many properties say they are pet friendly, but don’t allow cats. It was so refreshing to stay at a pet friendly place, who welcomed cats.
Loved this hotel. Great design and the rooms were very spacious, ideal for family trips. The location was great too, close to the river and on the main street of Hudson. The beds were big and very comfortable.
Clean and charming property, spacious room and bathroom. Bed super comfortable, great linen, shower excellent. Close to Hudson's main street, restaurants, shops. 10-15 minute walk from train station.
I loved the Nautical Nest in Hudson NY. It's a charming, cozy and modern hotel. I highly recommend the Nautical Nest Hudson and I had a lovely stay there.
