I am doing something similar and I don’t want the washer hookup to show. You said the water supply is under the sink but where is the drain? That seems to be the big issue as it has to be a certain height that is often higher than the countertop?

It also drains under the sink cabinet. We built the kitchen custom to accommodate for all the extra plumbing.

[…] We placed ours in the kitchen, which was the only available space where we could install both a washer and dryer with access to the building water line. If you’re curious about the installation and kitchen design process, read all about it in my post here. […]

Hello,

We are thinking about doing this with our condo kitchen in N.C. Which pic in the article is your kitchen? Enjoyed your article.

Thanks,
Dave

Hello, when I clicked the link for your appliances it took me to the 300 Bosch items on aj Madison. Could you tell me which ones you went with? Thank you!

Hi Kristina, I went with Bosch for my washer dryer. There’s really only 3 options on AJ Madison (6 total, 3 washers and 3 dryers).

But basically all the Bosch laundry machines are the same. There is the 300 series, the 500 series, and the 800 series. The fancier models just have more wash options + smart tech features like being able to control them with your phone.

This post I wrote goes a little more in depth into the different models and brands that make compact washing machines if you’re looking for a comparison.
